About the role

The Buyer for Power Fashion will shape the seasonal assortment, ensuring the right products reach customers at everyday low prices. You will work closely with planners, designers, and suppliers to drive sales, manage product performance, and support the brand’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive current trade performance by reacting quickly to sales data and adjusting orders.
• Develop proactive action plans for product performance issues in collaboration with planners.
• Communicate trade changes to resource, marketing, and visual merchandising teams.
• Monitor sales, pre‑production timelines, and delivery milestones to ensure on‑time performance.
• Manage supplier relationships, resolve delivery issues, and conduct competitor analysis.
• Prepare post‑mortem trade reports and present seasonal strategies to senior leaders.
• Define sub‑category and supplier strategies, balancing risk and agility.
• Source samples, confirm trends, and work with designers on graphics, artwork, and CAD builds.
• Build the assortment with planners, align bookings with production timelines, and ensure quality‑price fit.
• Coach and guide trainee or junior buyers.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in fashion buying, supplier management, and seasonal assortment planning.
• Ability to analyse trade data and present strategic recommendations.

Required skills

• CAD (computer‑aided design) for product development.
• Supplier relationship management.
• Product sampling and pre‑production coordination.
