Business Process Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Business Process Lead to join our delivery‑focused team in Johannesburg. The role is ideal for a senior business analyst with a strong background in process improvement who is ready to take on a visible leadership position, working closely with business, operations and technical teams to drive practical, sustainable change.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end business process improvement initiatives from discovery through implementation.
• Analyse current processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business, operations and technical stakeholders.
• Create clear process maps, documentation and future‑state designs.
• Translate process challenges into practical recommendations and delivery actions.
• Support teams in adopting improved ways of working and embed sustainable change.
• Build trusted relationships and keep initiatives moving with clear structure, ownership and delivery focus.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience as a business analyst with strong exposure to process analysis and optimisation.
• Proven track record of leading or owning process improvement initiatives end‑to‑end.
• Ability to move beyond analysis into leadership, facilitation and delivery ownership.
• Experience in complex operational environments (e.g., mining, manufacturing, supply chain) is advantageous.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or similar improvement methodologies (certification optional).
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in business analysis, operations or a related field.
