Business Development Specialist

About the role

Matriarch is seeking a Business Development Specialist to accelerate growth in its Utilities Management division. You will identify new opportunities, build strategic client relationships, and promote innovative utility management and IoT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within utilities and property management sectors.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
• Present and demonstrate Matriarch's utility management and IoT solutions to prospective clients.
• Develop tailored proposals that address client needs and deliver measurable value.
• Support clients throughout the sales and onboarding journey, fostering long‑term relationships.
• Drive revenue growth while exploring cross‑selling opportunities across Matriarch's broader service portfolio.

Required profile

• Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within utilities management, property management, renewable energy, or a related industry.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and closing B2B opportunities.
• Strong understanding of utilities, property management, or energy‑related services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience with technology‑driven or IoT solutions is advantageous.
