Business Development Representative – US Sales (Cape Town)

About the role

Fundwell is expanding its US sales team and is looking for a high‑energy Business Development Representative to work from its Cape Town CBD office. You will operate on the US business day, engaging qualified leads and guiding them through a fast, transparent funding process.

Key responsibilities

• Make 150–200+ outbound calls daily and follow up on warm leads.
• Own the full sales pipeline from prospecting to closing.
• Qualify B2B prospects using Fundwell’s sales playbook.
• Consult, influence and close deals with US‑based CEOs and executives.
• Collaborate with team leads to exceed monthly targets.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
• Contribute to a collaborative office culture.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in a fast‑paced B2B sales environment.
• Neutral, confident English accent suitable for US executives.
• Strong stamina for high‑volume outreach and resilience to rejection.
• Disciplined pipeline management and CRM habits.
• Full commitment to the on‑site shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM SAST, Mon‑Fri).
