Business Development Manager – Travel Management

About the role

Join FCM, a leading global travel management company, as a Business Development Manager focused on multinational growth. You will identify high‑value opportunities, build long‑term partnerships with global organisations, and position FCM as the preferred travel partner.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new multinational business opportunities.
• Generate and qualify sales leads through Salesforce, professional networks, industry events and face‑to‑face engagement.
• Conduct cold outreach and convert leads into long‑term partnerships.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and strategic sales targets aligned with the National Sales Leader.
• Build and maintain multi‑level client relationships and conduct regular business reviews.
• Analyse client spend reports to uncover growth opportunities.
• Provide accurate pipeline updates and participate in weekly sales meetings.
• Represent FCM at networking events, conferences and industry engagements.

Required profile

• Matric qualification (minimum) and preferably a tertiary qualification in Business or Travel.
• 5+ years of experience in sales, business development or customer‑relationship roles.
• Proven B2B experience with C‑level engagement and a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in solution selling; exposure to legal, mining or similar industries is advantageous.
• Self‑driven, confident, disciplined and results‑oriented.
