About the role

Lupiwe Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Specialised Solutions division in Johannesburg. The role focuses on expanding high‑value security services such as cash‑in‑transit, precious metals escort, and close protection. Candidates should have a strong background in high‑risk operations and a proven ability to drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the specialised security sector.
• Generate leads through cold calling, marketing initiatives, and networking.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales to increase revenue streams.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and service knowledge.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored security solutions and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic planning.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification; a diploma in Sales and Marketing is advantageous.
• 5–7 years of business development experience, preferably in specialised security or high‑risk logistics.
• Demonstrated experience escorting high‑value commodities or providing close protection services.
• Strong network within the security, logistics, or high‑risk sectors.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and PSIRA registration.
• Computer literate and able to work independently.
