Business Development Manager – South Africa

About the role

Datacultr is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead its sales efforts in South Africa. You will engage with C‑level executives and Chief Risk Officers, demonstrating how Datacultr’s digital operating system can improve collection efficiency and reduce non‑performing loans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a data‑driven sales process to build and manage a robust pipeline.
• Identify, engage, and close enterprise‑level deals across multiple industry verticals.
• Work closely with clients to understand their risk‑management challenges and position Datacultr’s solutions.
• Own revenue generation targets and report on sales performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor proposals and ensure successful implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of B2B/Enterprise software sales experience, preferably with large‑ticket deals.
• Proven ability to develop and lead high‑performing sales teams.
• Experience in both inside and outside sales, including lead generation and outbound prospecting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to large audiences.
• Self‑motivated, able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Fluent in English; bilingual capability is a plus.
