Business Development Manager – SAP (South Africa)

About the role

Samaha Consulting is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager – SAP to accelerate the growth of its SAP consulting and digital transformation services across South Africa and the wider African region. The role is ideal for an experienced enterprise sales professional with deep knowledge of the SAP ecosystem and a strong network in the South African enterprise market.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth for SAP services and solutions across multiple industries, including Public Sector, Retail, Mining, Utilities, and Oil & Gas.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities from lead generation through contract negotiation and closure.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and opportunity management.
• Develop strategic account plans aligned with customers’ digital transformation objectives.
• Collaborate with SAP South Africa sales teams, alliance partners and internal solution architects on joint pursuits.
• Lead demand‑generation activities such as marketing campaigns, industry events and customer workshops.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive insights and customer feedback to inform service development.

Required profile

• Proven enterprise sales experience within the SAP ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, Digital Core and industry‑specific SAP solutions.
• Established network of senior decision‑makers (CIOs, CFOs, business executives) in South African enterprises.
• Results‑oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
