Business Development Manager – Remote (30-40k RAND base + OTE)

About the role

We are a leading professional services firm seeking a remote Business Development Manager to expand our client base in the legal, technology, and accounting sectors. You will work with a steady flow of inbound leads and a rich database of historic contacts to generate new business and nurture lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win new business from law firms, tech companies, and accounting practices.
• Conduct high‑volume outbound calling and digital outreach to create opportunities.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships through regular weekly meetings.
• Convert warm leads and conduct cold outreach to close deals.
• Coordinate client meetings, ensure successful follow‑up, and market candidates to clients.
• Leverage historic lead data to reignite past opportunities.
• Contribute to the growth of our business in the US market.

Required profile

• Proven business development experience, preferably in recruitment or a B2B environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a talent for building relationships quickly.
• Ability to manage the full client lifecycle from outreach to conversion.
• Comfortable with heavy outbound calling and digital outreach activities.
• Results‑driven, self‑motivated, energetic and highly organized.
• Willingness to work USA hours (10:00 AM – 8:15 PM UK time).
