Business Development Manager – Remote, 30-40k RAND base + OTE

About the role

We are a leading professional services firm seeking a remote Business Development Manager to expand our client portfolio in the legal, technology and accounting sectors. You will work with a steady flow of inbound leads (25‑50 per week) and a rich database of historic contacts to generate new business and nurture existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win new business from law firms, tech companies and accounting practices.
• Conduct high‑volume outbound calling and digital outreach to create opportunities.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through regular weekly meetings.
• Convert cold outreach and warm leads into closed deals.
• Coordinate client meetings, ensure successful execution and follow‑up.
• Market candidate profiles to clients and manage the full recruitment cycle.
• Reactivate historic leads to uncover new revenue streams.
• Contribute to the expansion of our business in the US market.

Required profile

• Proven business development experience, preferably in recruitment or a B2B environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships quickly.
• Comfortable with heavy outbound calling and digital outreach.
• Results‑driven, self‑motivated and highly organized.
• Willingness to work USA hours (10:00 AM – 8:15 PM UK time).
