Business Development Manager – NetcarePlus

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive NetcarePlus sales strategy, increase market visibility and secure new business opportunities across B2B channels. You will work from the Netcare Head Office, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to grow the healthcare insurance portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new business through direct sales to employers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with product distribution partners and brokers.
• Train brokers on NetcarePlus products and support their sales activities.
• Monitor competitor activity and adapt action plans to protect and grow market share.
• Prepare product information packs in coordination with the Marketing team.
• Manage quotation requests, pipeline and sales targets.
• Analyse trends, identify process gaps and propose solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, gather requirements and create proposals or pricing agreements.

Required profile

• Relevant NQF Level 7 qualification (RE5 qualification required).
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) – advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in healthcare insurance products.
• Valid FAIS licence for selling healthcare insurance.
• Proven experience in both direct and intermediated sales within group risk and healthcare.
