Business Development Manager – National Distribution (Cape Town/Durban)

About the role

An established technology business seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager to expand its MSP partner network through national distribution channels. The role is individual‑contributor, based in Cape Town or Durban, with frequent travel between the two locations.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard new MSP partners.
• Activate dormant and development‑stage accounts.
• Build distributor‑led pipelines and revenue.
• Support partners through early‑stage sales opportunities.
• Drive partner enablement and recurring revenue growth.
• Manage pipeline, forecasting and conversion KPIs.
• Gather market and competitor intelligence.

Required profile

• Matric qualification; relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Solid experience in channel sales, business development or IT distribution.
• Proven experience within IT distributors and MSP ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue models.
• Experience in cloud backup, disaster recovery or cybersecurity.
• Proven partner recruitment, prospecting and account development capability.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
