Business Development Manager

About the role

Raubex Academy is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to expand partnerships and drive training collaborations across the Raubex Group. The role focuses on promoting the Academy’s value proposition, managing client relationships and coordinating cost‑efficient training programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the Academy’s value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and grow collaborative relationships, ensuring high client retention and satisfaction.
• Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify development opportunities.
• Consolidate Raubex Group training requirements into a cost‑efficient schedule and maintain an annual training calendar.
• Develop and maintain marketing collateral, website content and social media presence.
• Organise and attend marketing‑related events and industry forums.
• Lead proposal development, costing and finalise transactions.
• Perform market analysis and implement collaboration strategies to increase uptake of training services.
• Liaise with SETA bodies and industry organisations, working closely with the internal Skills Development Practitioner.
• Prepare and present monthly performance reports.
• Travel extensively as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Relevant qualification in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management.
• Strong computer literacy.
