About the role
Fresha is looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead its expansion in South Africa, with a focus on Cape Town and surrounding regions. As one of the first commercial hires for this market, you will have high visibility and ownership in shaping the company’s go‑to‑market strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and acquire new beauty and wellness partners across South Africa.
- Conduct product demonstrations and advise prospects on Fresha’s software and payment solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from outreach to onboarding and activation.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Partner Operations, and Product teams to refine regional strategy.
- Provide market insights and feedback to improve local positioning.
Required profile
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in SaaS or technology‑enabled services.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast‑moving scale‑up environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel within South Africa as needed.
