Business Development Manager – Enterprise Sales

About the role

Vox Telecom is seeking a senior‑level Business Development Manager to lead enterprise‑level sales in Cape Town. You will act as a true hunter, identifying, developing and closing high‑value opportunities while engaging C‑level decision‑makers and negotiating at boardroom level.

Key responsibilities

• Drive 100% new business acquisition across enterprise and corporate markets.
• Negotiate and present solutions at boardroom level, positioning Vox as a strategic connectivity partner.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with accurate follow‑up.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to unlock new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance and Projects teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior Business Development Managers when required.
• Report sales activity, pipeline progress and market intelligence to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of B2B solution sales experience with a proven record in enterprise new‑business acquisition.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals with C‑level executives.
• Experience selling ICT and telecom solutions such as fibre, voice and security.
• Self‑motivated, disciplined and accountable with high energy and resilience.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
