Business Development Manager - Dell Enterprise

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Business Unit Manager to lead our logistics operations in Woodmead, Johannesburg. The role combines strategic business development with end‑to‑end supply‑chain management, driving growth and operational excellence for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the business unit, from procurement through delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and execute revenue‑growth strategies, secure new business and optimise operational efficiency.
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, cost control and invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards and internal policies.
• Motivate, mentor and develop the operations team to achieve performance targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, supply‑chain management or freight operations.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent client‑relationship, negotiation and business‑development skills.
• Solid financial acumen and experience overseeing budgets.
• Results‑driven, hands‑on and process‑oriented mindset.
