Business Development Manager – Africa Markets

About the role

Tanda is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of its fire‑safety solutions across Africa. The role focuses on building strong distributor networks, driving sales growth, and representing the company at international events.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and establish partnerships with local distributors and sales channels in African markets.
• Build and maintain a robust overseas channel system, implementing cooperation strategies and incentive programs.
• Manage relationships with key channel clients to ensure long‑term, stable collaborations.
• Conduct market research on regional trends and competitor activities, reporting insights to headquarters.
• Provide sales support to agents, including target achievement assistance, technical training, and promotional activities.
• Represent Tanda at international trade shows and conduct overseas visits to boost business development.
• Lead negotiations, finalize contracts, and develop commercial terms.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the manager or direct supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Trade, Marketing, Foreign Languages, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in overseas channel development and management, preferably in the fire‑safety industry.
• Proficiency in English and at least one additional language (Arabic, Spanish, or French) for independent overseas meetings.
• Strong understanding of international trade practices and cross‑cultural communication.
• Prior experience or networks in new‑energy charging infrastructure or smart security sectors is a plus.
• Passionate about sales, responsible, team‑oriented, and results‑driven.
