Business Development Executive – Hygiene Solutions (Johannesburg)

About the role

We are looking for a driven Business Development Executive to sell professional cleaning and hygiene solutions to retailers in Johannesburg. The role is a true hunter position focused on opening new doors, building long‑term relationships and growing market share within the retail sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities with franchise owners, independent retailers and key decision‑makers.
• Present and demonstrate tailored cleaning chemicals, equipment and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, sales forecasts and activity reports while maintaining an active pipeline in a CRM system.
• Grow existing accounts, increase market share and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Provide technical support, after‑sales service and basic equipment installations.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B new‑business development, preferably in technical or equipment sales.
• Hunter mentality with strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and target‑driven.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
