Business Development Executive – Construction Focus – Relocate to Tanzania

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Business Development Executive to grow our interior design and fit‑out business in Tanzania. The role involves identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and converting leads into profitable projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction, renovation, hospitality, retail and office sectors.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects through cold calling, site visits and networking.
• Develop relationships with property owners, developers, architects, consultants and corporate clients.
• Understand client requirements, prepare quotations, proposals and deliver presentations.
• Negotiate commercial terms and support deal closure.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and produce weekly sales activity reports.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends and upcoming projects.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of sales, business development or client‑facing experience.
• Experience in construction, real estate, interior design, furniture or hospitality is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to relocate to Tanzania.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
