Business Development Consultant / 360 Recruiter (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Consultant who will also operate as a 360 Recruiter. Working remotely from South Africa, you will own a defined market segment in the Data & Analytics space, building long‑term client relationships across the UK, US and other European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Map and develop a cold client base within AI/ML, Data Engineering, Data Science or Full‑Stack Software Engineering verticals.
• Identify and prospect hiring managers, department heads and talent acquisition leaders using outbound calls, LinkedIn and referrals.
• Win new business through a phone‑first approach and maintain a visible pipeline.
• Brief the delivery team so placements are executed independently of you.
• Report commercially on pipeline status, including progress, closures and stalls.

Required profile

• Proven business development billing history in data, analytics or tech recruitment.
• Experience in the UK or US recruitment markets with knowledge of fee structures and senior‑level client engagement.
• Comfortable with cold outreach and self‑managing your targets and schedule.
• Commission‑driven mindset with clear income goals.
