About the role
We are seeking a Business Developer to drive growth in the mobile games market. Based in South Africa, you will shape partnerships with game studios and publishers worldwide, acting as a commercial strategist and trusted advisor.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end business development activities: prospecting, cold outreach, pitching, negotiations and contract closing with mobile game developers and publishers.
- Identify, qualify and secure new strategic partnerships to expand market presence.
- Manage a structured sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring consistent follow‑ups and conversion tracking.
- Act as a trusted advisor, clearly articulating value propositions, ROI and revenue growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with product, marketing and operations teams to align partner needs with internal roadmaps.
- Represent the company at international industry events, conferences and trade fairs.
- Gather market insights and partner feedback to inform product improvements and strategic decisions.
Required profile
- 3‑4+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in mobile gaming, app technology or digital products.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building qualified pipelines.
- Experience in cold lead generation and engaging key decision‑makers.
- Full professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong autonomy, adaptability and ability to work independently.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Monday.com or similar platforms.
