Business Consultant

About the role

Bestmed Medical Scheme is looking for a dynamic Business Consultant to strengthen relationships with advisors and intermediaries, driving membership growth. You will lead training, provide ongoing support, and implement strategies that position Bestmed as the preferred scheme for brokers and their clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver effective advisor training programmes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and intermediaries.
• Implement strategies to grow Bestmed’s membership through advisor channels.
• Recruit new members via advisors and brokerages, targeting corporate groups with more than 30 employees.
• Conduct annual broker surveys, reporting, and accreditation activities.
• Ensure a healthy risk pool and retain existing broker relationships.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with Mathematics (E) or Maths Literacy (C) or higher.
• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or Customer Relations.
• Minimum 4 years of sales or customer relationship management experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle.
