Business Central Application Developer (Hybrid, Johannesburg)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Central/Application Developer to join our ERP team on a 6‑12 month contract. The role is based in Johannesburg with a hybrid work model (2‑3 days in the office). You will design, develop, and customise solutions across Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central, supporting our finance and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customise extensions using AL and C/AL for Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
• Create and maintain SSRS reports to meet business reporting needs.
• Provide functional support, manage change requests, and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a collaborative ERP environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Required profile

• South African citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid work permit.
• Minimum 3 years of experience for intermediate level or 6 years for senior level in Business Central/Dynamics NAV development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid team.
