Business and Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Business and Data Analyst to join our Group in Sandton, Johannesburg. Reporting to the Group Chief Growth Officer, the role will turn operational data from sales, finance, leads, after‑sales and workforce into decision‑ready insight for the executive team.

Key responsibilities

• Map and analyse core business processes, workflows and customer journeys across dealership, digital and back‑office functions.
• Identify inefficiencies and design technology‑led solutions to automate manual steps.
• Build business cases for proposed changes, including efficiency gains and headcount impact.
• Design, develop and maintain Group‑wide reporting and dashboards covering sales, F&I, after‑sales, lead management and workforce performance.
• Track performance against targets, surface trends, risks and opportunities for leadership.
• Support sizing and financial modelling of new digital and omnichannel sales initiatives.
• Partner with the CTO and technology team on data‑infrastructure build‑out and ensure accurate CRM and lead‑management data attribution.

Required profile

• Senior analyst with strong analytical mindset.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with technology, operations, finance and executive leadership.
• Proven ability to translate raw operational data into clear, actionable insight.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
