Business Analyst – Procurement & Analytics

About the role

The Business Analyst joins the Business Process & Analytics team within TFG’s Non‑Merchandise Procurement function. You will gather requirements, analyse spend data and support decision‑making for the procurement of goods and services, working closely with the Strategic Sourcing team and senior procurement leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, validate and document business requirements for sourcing initiatives.
• Analyse spend data to quantify savings, risk reduction, transformation or sustainability benefits.
• Validate insights with sourcing teams and stakeholders to secure buy‑in.
• Identify gaps between requirements and solutions and propose improvements.
• Support ongoing improvement of NMP capabilities, including Sourcing Toolkits and the Coupa Commodity Tree.
• Provide analysis and reporting support throughout the sourcing life‑cycle and for senior committees.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports, support team priorities and mentor junior analysts.

Required profile

• Relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent.
• Business Analysis, Data Analysis or Procurement qualification preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a related field, preferably within retail procurement.
• Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and ability to work in a complex, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Coupa (Commodity Tree and related modules).
