Business Analyst – Hybrid – Cape Town

About the role

Our client, a global investment advisory firm, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their hybrid team in Cape Town. You will work closely with technology and software teams to optimise complex business processes and deliver high‑quality system solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Map and optimise complex business processes, identifying root causes of operational challenges.
• Design end‑to‑end solutions that align with the broader technology and data architecture.
• Partner with technology teams to deliver system enhancements and manage small‑to‑medium software and integration builds.
• Analyse workflows and integration points, including APIs and ETL, to ensure seamless data movement and integrity.
• Lead workshops, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive consensus through structured discussions.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through UAT, release, and adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience identifying inefficiencies and optimising complex business processes.
• Strong ability to apply design and systems thinking to create effective solutions.
• Experience partnering with technology teams to deliver system enhancements.
• Solid understanding of data management, API integrations, and end‑to‑end system workflows.
