Business Analyst – Global Distributor Insights

About the role

The company, a leading beauty care manufacturer with a global distributor network, is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Cape Town office. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will translate distributor purchase data, market trends and performance metrics into actionable insights that drive commercial decisions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report on distributor purchases against annual targets, providing data‑driven insights to senior leadership.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners across international markets.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and distributor feedback to support commercial planning.
• Partner with distributors to validate data accuracy across financial and reporting systems.
• Prepare board‑level performance dashboards highlighting risks, opportunities and growth trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align distributor strategy with broader business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related commercial field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis or commercial finance.
• Experience in manufacturing, beauty or a global distributor‑model business.
• Proven ability to work with large datasets and translate data into actionable insight.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in the office.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data modelling).
• Exposure to SYSPRO.
• SQL.
• BI tools such as Power BI.
