Business Analyst – FinTech (Stellenbosch)

A high‑growth fintech company is seeking a curious and analytical Business Analyst to shape digital products for African markets. The role sits at the intersection of business and technology, turning complex challenges into user‑focused solutions while supporting fast‑paced Agile delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, data, credit and development teams to refine processes and define clear requirements.
• Support Agile ceremonies and delivery, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical implementation.
• Analyse business problems, propose data‑driven solutions, and document functional specifications.
• Maintain and improve product documentation using Jira and Confluence.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Business Analysis or Product Support within financial services or technology.
• Critical thinker who moves fast, challenges assumptions and enjoys solving complex business problems.

Required skills

• Strong SQL querying ability.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for task tracking and documentation.
