Broker Consultant – Business Development & Client Relations

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Broker Consultant to act as the primary liaison between our company and brokers/insurers. You will develop and maintain strong relationships, drive new business opportunities and ensure the delivery of tailored short‑term insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new sales leads, acquire and retain broker and insurer clients.
• Build brand awareness and act as the main point of contact for top clients.
• Analyse broker target markets, product focus and national footprint to identify opportunities.
• Package and present customised insurance solutions aligned with broker needs.
• Conduct regular client meetings, handle complaints and service inquiries.
• Deliver product training and marketing presentations to brokers and insurers.
• Implement business‑development and retention campaigns with measurable outcomes.
• Monitor competitor strategies and adjust positioning accordingly.
• Negotiate service levels and business terms with intermediaries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in broker or insurance sales and business development.
• Strong relationship‑building and networking abilities.
• Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting sales targets.
