Brand Manager – South Africa

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is looking for a dynamic Brand Manager to lead brand and trade marketing initiatives across South Africa and Sub‑Saharan Africa. You will shape campaigns, drive demand, and ensure the brand’s voice resonates with consumers while supporting both Direct‑to‑Consumer and wholesale channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute Brand & Trade Marketing campaigns, maintaining an activity calendar for DTC and wholesale.
• Own all campaign and promotional rollouts, coordinating internal stakeholders and external suppliers to meet deadlines.
• Develop demand‑generation plans for DTC and wholesale accounts.
• Lead PR efforts and collaborate with agencies to maximise earned media.
• Oversee social‑media planning and partner channel management.
• Serve as daily point of contact for third‑party agencies.
• Track key metrics and produce monthly, campaign, and quarterly business reviews.
• Manage direct reports: Brand Assistant and intern.
• Partner with the Ecommerce Manager on cross‑functional initiatives.
• Coordinate development, sourcing, production, and delivery of marketing and retail tools.
• Support events, influencer marketing, e‑commerce activities, proposal evaluation, and budget management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar brand or trade‑marketing role.
• Proven experience in trade marketing and retail environments.
