Brand Manager – Marketing (Cape Town)

About the role

The Brand Manager will lead the development and execution of the brand strategy for the South African market. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will ensure a 360° approach to marketing activities, driving market share growth and strengthening brand equity.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate the marketing vision, ensuring timely execution of brand strategies.
• Maintain brand equity and integrity while adapting global strategies to the local market.
• Set and achieve annual wholesale budgets, monitor retail pricing, and manage inventory levels.
• Collaborate with sales teams to set sell‑out targets and conduct regular business reviews.
• Manage A&P spend, ensuring ROI and profitability across all retailers.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and coordinate PR activities to maximise brand exposure.

Required profile

• Business or Marketing degree.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the cosmetics industry.
• Proven ability to develop long‑term brand growth plans and analyse performance data.
• Strong commercial thinking and entrepreneurial mindset.
