Branch Manager – Tshilamba Centre

About the role

Sanlam Developing Markets is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Tshilamba Centre retail branch. You will be responsible for growing the customer base and revenue while ensuring a high‑quality client experience and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the retail branch strategy, driving sales and service delivery.
• Guide, integrate and standardise activities of Sales Consultants to meet targets.
• Maintain day‑to‑day operations, including people management, performance reviews and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management across all branch activities.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5, plus 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Minimum 5 years recent industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in insurance sales, credit/lending and service management.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, Sanlam insurance products and business acumen.
