Branch Manager – Retail (Botshabello)

About the role

We are seeking a suitably qualified Branch Manager to oversee all branch functions within a new Lewis store. The ideal candidate will take ownership of all branch activities, lead a profitable and sustainable business unit, and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, lead, motivate, develop, and empower branch employees to retain a stable, high‑performing team.
• Drive sales targets and manage operational efficiencies to maintain a healthy, profitable business.
• Ensure excellent customer service through active involvement in customer interactions.
• Manage and control financial targets while balancing business risk.
• Minimise stock loss by complying with security, stock, and cash handling procedures.
• Ensure branch operations comply with relevant regulatory legislation.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Matric / Grade 12 qualification (tertiary business qualification advantageous).
• Minimum of 3 years retail management experience, preferably in bedding retail.
• Computer literate.
• Strong leadership abilities and proven ability to manage, lead, motivate, develop, and empower staff.
• Tough‑minded, target‑driven individual who thrives in a high‑pressure sales environment.
