Branch Manager – Modimolle

About the role

As a Branch Manager for Sanlam Developing Markets in Modimolle, you will lead the branch to grow its customer base and revenue by executing the retail branch strategy. You will oversee sales consultants, ensure compliance, and drive a service‑delivery culture to deliver optimal client experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through developing and overseeing the execution of the retail branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate and standardise the activities, goals and objectives of Sales Consultants in line with the strategy.
• Lead a service delivery culture and ecosystem within and outside the branch to enable an optimal client experience.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the retail branch, including strategy development and business planning.
• Ensure retail branch sales delivery, compliance, quality and risk management.
• Oversee operational people practices with HR, including talent management, performance management, development, grievance resolution and capacity management.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities and engage key internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5, plus 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual) and compliance with continuous professional development cycles.
• Minimum five years recent industry experience, including at least three years in a leadership capacity.
• Service management experience, insurance sales experience, and credit and lending experience.
