Branch Manager – Malamulele

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Malamulele branch of Sanlam Retail Mass, driving growth in the customer base and revenue. You will develop and execute the branch strategy, guiding Sales Consultants and ensuring an optimal client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Guide, integrate and standardise activities of Sales Consultants in line with the branch strategy.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture both within and outside the branch to enhance client experience.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, business planning and strategy development for the retail branch.
• Ensure sales delivery, compliance, quality and risk management standards are met.
• Manage operational people practices with HR, including talent management, performance, development and grievance resolution.
• Plan and report monthly on sales and service activities.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Class of Business accreditation and continuous professional development compliance.
• Minimum 5 years recent industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Service management, insurance sales, and credit/lending experience.
