Branch Manager – Home Textiles

About the role

Our client is urgently seeking an experienced and results‑driven Branch Manager to lead the Richards Bay store. The role involves overseeing daily operations, driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service within the home textiles sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day store operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while monitoring performance against KPIs.
• Lead, motivate and schedule the branch team, handling performance reviews and training needs.
• Control stock levels, conduct inventory counts, and minimise losses, damages and discrepancies.
• Maintain merchandising standards, pricing, labeling and seasonal displays.
• Build strong customer relationships and resolve complaints professionally.
• Monitor expenses, control operating costs and ensure accurate cash handling and banking.
• Analyse daily sales and financial reports to identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• 3–5 years of management experience in a retail environment.
• Proven track record of leading sales teams and meeting targets.
• Experience in stock and inventory management.
• Strong customer service and operational management background.
• Experience in home textiles, furniture, décor or related industry is advantageous.
