Branch Manager – Bloemfontein

About the role

The Bloemfontein branch is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations, ensure compliance with contractual and security requirements, and maintain strong client relationships. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will oversee a large team of security officers and support staff.

Key responsibilities

• Overall management of the branch, including operations, finance, transport, HR, industrial relations, ISO compliance, client portfolios, contracts and SLAs.
• Lead Operations Managers, Site Managers and Supervisors to address client matters promptly.
• Plan, organise, lead and control staff activities, duty rosters and training programmes.
• Conduct regular client and internal management meetings.
• Prepare quarterly appraisals, succession plans and annual budgets.
• Control assets, fleet and firearms, and ensure proper quotation processes.
• Submit monthly and quarterly reports, risk assessments and investigation reports.
• Maintain service quality in line with the quality management system and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Matric certificate with PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the security industry, including senior security management of a large workforce.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 requirements.
• Strong people‑management, administration, client liaison and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability in financial management, budgeting and fleet management.
• Assertive, goal‑driven and self‑motivated attitude.
