About the role

As a Branch External Sales and Service Advisor OBR, you will deliver exceptional customer experiences by understanding individual financial needs and providing tailored, value‑adding solutions in a fast‑paced branch environment. You will operate under FNB’s governance, adhering to FAIS, FICA and Treating Customers Fairly principles.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compliant, professional financial advice to walk‑in and existing clients.
• Analyse client data to recommend appropriate product solutions aligned with financial goals.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Achieve individual and branch sales and service targets.
• Manage leads, referrals and client follow‑ups within agreed turnaround times.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 / NQF Level 4; NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in customer‑facing roles within financial services.
• Strong understanding of FAIS, FICA and TCF principles.
• Proven ability to meet sales, service and compliance targets.
• Ethical conduct, empathy and a commitment to personal development.
