Bookkeeper & Accounts Payable Administrator

About the role

Join a well‑established manufacturing company in Randjiespark as a Bookkeeper and Accounts Payable Administrator. You will ensure accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices and support the Financial Manager in maintaining strong cash‑flow and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, code, and capture supplier invoices in the accounting system.
• Perform three‑way matching of Purchase Orders, Goods Received Vouchers, and invoices.
• Maintain supplier master data and reconcile monthly statements.
• Prepare EFT payment schedules and verify banking details before processing.
• Reconcile the Accounts Payable control account and ageing report.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.

Required profile

• Experience in accounts payable and bookkeeping within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills for handling supplier queries.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Understanding of three‑way matching and EFT payment processes.
