Bookkeeper – Accounting Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to manage our organization’s financial records. The successful candidate will record daily transactions, maintain ledgers, and support payroll and tax processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Verify receipts and process bank payments via cash or cheque.
• Monitor office expenses and settle vendor invoices.
• Assist with tax form preparation and filing.
• Process and maintain payroll records.
• Ensure transaction accuracy and proper ledger entry.
• Develop daily and monthly financial and statistical reports for management.

Required profile

• Relevant experience as a bookkeeper (years not specified).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Basic data‑entry experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High integrity and confidentiality in handling financial records.
• In‑depth knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures and terminology.

Required skills
