BIM Tutor – Home‑Based Training Role

About the role

We are looking for a BIM Tutor to deliver BSI training courses across South Africa. Working from home, you will travel to client sites to provide face‑to‑face and virtual classroom sessions, helping organisations improve their BIM performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver BSI BIM training courses, ensuring added value for customers.
• Inform and update customers about BSI services during training.
• Explain how training aligns with the overall customer journey.
• Maintain high training quality and enhance BSI’s reputation.
• Provide feedback for course development and design new training solutions.
• Keep professional qualifications up‑to‑date in relevant BIM disciplines.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of the ISO 19650 series (preferred).
• In‑depth understanding of BIM processes, standards and related regulations.
• Experience in construction or built‑environment sectors, including delivery or asset‑management phases.
• Proven ability to deliver training in person, online or blended formats.
• Design‑thinking, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
