Billing Administrator

About the role

Are you a detail‑driven Billing Administrator who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in getting the numbers right? A growing organisation is looking for an experienced Billing Administrator to join its Finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager and CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve customer billing queries and provide professional support.
• Manage customer accounts and generate accurate bills and invoices.
• Run billing due lists and ensure invoices are processed within required deadlines.
• Issue invoices to clients accurately and timeously, and process correction requests.
• Verify pricing, VAT and discount information impacting billing.
• Process debit orders, credits and refund payments.
• Perform billing analysis and prepare relevant reports.

Required profile

• 2–3 years’ experience in a Billing Administrator or similar role.
• Grade 12 / Matric essential.
• Relevant finance qualification advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills essential.
• Experience with SQL and Power Query advantageous.
• Comfortable working under pressure in a high‑volume environment.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a Finance team.
