About the role
Our client is looking for a detail‑oriented Auditor who has successfully completed articles with SAIPA or SAICA. The role is based in the Durban South office and offers the opportunity to apply audit knowledge on client engagements while working within a supportive team.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute end‑to‑end audit procedures in line with regulatory standards.
- Gather and review client documentation, address queries, and communicate audit findings.
- Prepare high‑quality working papers and maintain organized audit files.
- Identify financial risks, operational inefficiencies, and internal control gaps.
- Ensure audit assignments are completed within strict deadlines.
Required profile
- BCom degree in Accounting or Auditing (or equivalent).
- Successfully completed articles under SAICA or SAIPA.
- Residency in the Durban South area.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport for occasional client visits.
Required skills
- No specific software skills required; strong analytical and audit methodology knowledge is essential.
What we offer
- Competitive salary of R21,000 per month.
