About the role
Verryn & Co is seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor or Audit Senior to strengthen its audit team. The role involves bringing structure to audit files, mentoring trainees and ensuring engagements stay on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute and complete external audit engagements.
- Review audit working papers for accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with clients to gather information and address queries.
- Supervise and support trainee accountants throughout the audit process.
Required profile
- Completed SAICA articles.
- Proven external audit experience.
- Strong technical and review capabilities.
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
- Organised, proactive and client‑focused approach.
