About the role
Our client, an established auditing and accounting firm in Pretoria East, is looking for a motivated Audit Senior to lead audit engagements and ensure high‑quality financial reporting. The role combines hands‑on audit work with mentoring junior staff.
Key responsibilities
- Perform full audit planning for client engagements
- Complete relevant audit programmes and prepare lead schedules and lead sheets
- Prepare and review Excel‑based working papers
- Compile electronic audit files in line with IRBA standards
- Prepare audited annual financial statements
- Provide training, supervision and support to junior team members during audits
- Facilitate formal audit‑related training sessions for staff
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date timesheets
- Manage and respond to client queries professionally
Required profile
- Accounting degree
- Completed SAICA articles
- Valid driver’s licence and own car
- Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
