Audit Manager - Large & Complex

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead large and complex audit engagements. You will work closely with senior leadership to implement strategic plans, manage teams, and ensure high‑quality delivery for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager in delivering designated engagements and managing implementation of agreed deliverables.
• Oversee team performance on client engagements, ensuring adherence to audit agreements and quality standards.
• Manage engagement budgets, control costs, and drive profitability.
• Contribute to business development by supporting regional winning opportunities and cross‑service collaboration.
• Share expertise and mentor team members to foster growth and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Qualified CA (SA) with a minimum of 2 years in an Audit Manager role, focusing on FIST clients.
• Proven experience in client‑facing management and delivering audit services on‑site.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on quality and problem solving.
