Audit Manager – Assurance & Consulting Firm

About the role

We are a reputable assurance, accounting and consulting firm seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our Cape Winelands office. The role involves leading audit engagements for a diverse client base ranging from small businesses to large corporations.

Key responsibilities

• Produce client reports such as financial statements, minutes, certificates and management letters.
• Formulate and finalise audit opinions and manage audit budgets.
• Conduct full audit file reviews, ensure readiness for sign‑off and perform tax return reviews.
• Allocate resources, manage staff on engagements, approve timesheets and oversee billing and work‑in‑progress.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide technical assistance to team members.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualified or eligible, with RA qualification or progress considered an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years post‑articles experience in a supervisory or managerial audit role.
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, IFRS, ISA and taxation.
• Strong leadership, initiative, and ability to develop talent.
