Attorney – Technology & Commercial Law

About the role

We are a specialist boutique law firm located in Sandton, focusing on the intersection of technology, commercial law and intellectual property commercialization. We are seeking a newly admitted or soon‑to‑be attorney with a strong interest in technology‑driven transactions to join our non‑litigation team.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, licensing agreements and technology‑related transactions.
• Provide advisory services on intellectual property commercialization, data protection and privacy compliance.
• Support clients with regulatory and compliance matters related to technology businesses.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers to develop tailored legal solutions for tech‑driven companies.

Required profile

• Recently admitted attorney (or imminent admission) with a clear interest in technology and commercial law.
• Exposure to technology law topics through articles, studies or early work experience is advantageous.
• Motivation to build a long‑term career within a small, experienced team.
• Commitment to developing expertise in a specialised legal area.
