About the role
We are seeking a qualified Conveyancing Attorney to join our Durban North practice. The successful candidate will handle conveyancing matters from the initial instruction through to registration at the Deeds Office and final accounting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage conveyancing files from instruction, drafting, and Deeds Office registration to final account closure.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of paralegals.
- Sign all conveyancing documents on behalf of the firm.
- Report progress and outcomes to the senior partner.
Required profile
- LLB degree and admission as an attorney.
- Admission as a conveyancer with at least five years post‑admission conveyancing experience.
- Extensive experience within a conveyancing department handling property transfers.
- Strong professional references.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in LexisConvey.
- Advanced proficiency in e4 conveyancing software.
- High level of independence and ability to work hands‑on.
