Associate GP – Women’s Health

About the role

The Women’s Health Practice in Claremont, Cape Town is seeking an Associate General Practitioner with a focus on women’s health. You will join a supportive team that values holistic care, continuous learning, and patient‑centred treatment plans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 1‑hour and 30‑minute consultations for women across the lifespan.
• Provide evidence‑based management of chronic, mental and women‑specific health conditions.
• Collaborate with two senior GPs to discuss complex cases and share clinical insights.
• Utilise the practice’s online booking system and maintain accurate patient records.
• Liaise with local radiology, pathology labs and specialist networks to coordinate investigations and referrals.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a busy general practice.
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and holding personal medical indemnity insurance.
• Demonstrated passion for holistic women’s health, supported by an additional qualification or relevant experience.
• Commitment to staying current with clinical guidelines and research.
• Ability to guide patients toward positive treatment and lifestyle choices.
